BONIVA IV   BONIVA

Boniva is the prescription medication especially used for the treatment of osteoporosis in women after menopause phase. Boniva is the only osteoporosis medication that is clinically proven to not only maintaining the density of the bones but in fact to build them strong and healthy with just a single tablet every month. If the women taking this drug give it up abruptly, it may reverse the bone loss or increase the bone mass, though they won’t be able to experience the difference anyway. Boniva may minimize the chances of breaking bones or fractures.

For the best results of Boniva it should be taken as prescribed and should not give it up. Boniva is required to be taken once every month as directed by the physician. You may start it from any day of the month and repeat the dose on the same date next month. Your bones get the continuous protection through out the month with the help of just one pill.

Boniva Tablet is the prescription medicine and those who have low blood calcium, cannot sit or stand for 60 minutes minimum, having acute kidney disease or have allergy to any of its ingredients, should not take it without consulting the doctors. Also the Boniva Injections are for treating the post menopausal osteoporosis and must be administered IV-intravenously only by the medical professionals or by the doctors.

Boniva may cause serious problems in the stomach and the esophagus – the tube connecting mouth to the stomach. The problems may be like troubles in swallowing, heartburn and ulcers. The common side effects of Boniva are: diarrhoea, extreme pains in arms and legs and dyspepsia or stomach upset.

FDA should not allow Boniva for Sale
My mother took Boniva, and it was the absolute worse thing for her. The 1st time she took it, it gave her shortness of breath, then she had pain in her legs. She thought she'd take it the next month, since her doctor insisted she take it for her osteo, but again, she was short of breath, so we called her doctor, who said to stop taking it immediately. My mother now has worse aftereffects from the Boniva Drug, her movements are worse then ever! She had a difficult time getting up from the chair and walking. I wish to GOD, she had never taken this stupid Drug! I wish there was some way, she could be back the way she was before she took the damn Boniva! I really think the FDA should look into this drug before releasing it. If you dont believe me. go to the website "Askapatient.com" and put "boniva" in the search field, and see for yourself all the comments and the overall low rating Boniva rec'd from all that submitted their comments. PLz avoid this drug.

RE : FDA should not allow Boniva for Sale
My mother's health has also taken a steep nosedive since starting on Boniva. It certainly didn't prevent any fractures when she fell recently, sustaining a hip and vertebral fracture. She has had severe generalized pain for many months and complains of feeling like there is a fist in her chest, though cardiac tests are all normal. You can go to the FDA web site and file a report under Medwatch if you want. I'm planning to do that. I don't think I'll get any assistance from my mother's PCP. He's not one to engage in listening....a problem with far too many doctors when it comes to the elderly. Wonder what's in store for Baby Boomers?
