It falls under FDA pregnancy category X and can cause serious birth defects to the fetus. Pregnant women must never come into contact with these tablets, as they can cause problems by mere skin contact. So, it’s strictly advised not to touch broken or crushed tablets. While taking Proscar, you might experience less serious side effects like decreased libido, decrease in the volume of ejaculation, inability to maintain an erection, and breast tenderness.
