Some women should not take the Pill, including women who have blood clots, a history of heart attack or stroke, certain cancers, as well as those who could be pregnant. This Pill does not protect against HIV infection or other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). With Seasonique, they get a low dose of estrogen during their period, which may provide benefits including less breakthrough bleeding.
